Does SugarBox sync documents from Box to SugarCRM?

Yes. SugarBox enables documents to be synced from Box to CRM as well as from CRM to Box.

Is SugarBox compatible with SuiteCRM?


Yes. There is a SuiteCRM compatible version of SugarBox called SuiteBox which is available on the SuiteCRM Store. It works exactly the same as SugarBox, and provides all the same features.

Is the data synced straight away after I add a document?

The frequency of sync is controlled by the scheduler on CRM. When you add a new document on CRM, it is synced only when the scheduler job for SugarBox next runs. By default the scheduler runs every 10 minutes, but you can go to Admin – Scheduler – SugarBox Drive (or SuiteBox Drive for SuiteBox) and make changes according to your preference.
The sync from Box to CRM takes about 10 minutes.

How does SugarBox organize the documents on Box?


When you authorize access to your Box account from Sugar or Suite CRM, a new folder is created for the documents that are synced via the plugin. Inside the main folder, you can find subfolders named after each module (Documents, Opportunities, Contacts etc.) which contain folders named after records which have documents linked with them.

Which modules are supported for organized Box synchronization?


By default, documents are synced to the Documents folder inside the SugarBox folder. However, for documents that are directly linked to a record, SugarBox creates a folder hierarchy for each module. The supported modules include Contacts, Opportunities, Documents, Accounts, Quotes and Cases. Any documents linked with a record in each of these modules will be saved to its specific folder.

What happens if I delete a document?


Deleting a document from CRM deletes the document from Box as well. However, deleting it from Box does not delete it from the CRM.

Are folders synced from Box to CRM?


No. folders are not synced from Box to CRM. Only documents inside the folders that are part of the hierarchy are synced to CRM.

Is RT SugarBox compatible with the latest versions of Sugar?


Yes. RT SugarBox is compatible with the latest Sugar versions. You can use RT SugarBox with Sugar versions 7 to 11.

Files are not syncing. Please help.

  • Make sure you have verified the license key. To do so:
  1. Go to Admin-RT SugarBox License Configuration (RT SuiteBox License Configuration for SuiteBox).
  2. Enter a valid key and click verify. The button should change to say Authenticate Box.
  3. Click on Authenticate Box. You will be directed to the Box app and asked to enter your credentials.
  4. Add your email and password, and click Authorize.
  5. On the next screen, click on Grant access to Box.
  • Make sure the scheduler is running. To do this:
  1. Go to Admin – Scheduler.
  2. Click on SugarBox (or SuiteBox) Drive.
