Will this work with Sugar's on-demand service?

Yes. SalesMap is compatible with both self-hosted and on-demand instances of SugarCRM. For details on which versions of SugarCRM it’s compatible with, please see the compatibility section of the SugarOutfitters listing, or consult the user manual.

Can I see my Opportunities in Google Maps with SalesMap?

No. The current version of SalesMap works for Accounts, Leads, and Contacts only.

How do I make sure that my non-geocoded records are geocoded properly?

After successful installation of SalesMap, check the dashlet on the right of the map to see how many of your records have been geocoded. If the records are not being converted, perform the following steps to make sure the geocoding process is working.

  1. Go to ‘Admin’.
  2. Click on ‘Scheduler’. You will see all the schedulers running in SugarCRM.
  3. Click on the “Calculate Latitude and Longitude” scheduler, and check the “Last Successful Run” value. This value’s date/time should be close to the current date/time.
  4. Scroll down and check “Job Log”. This must be running in regular intervals. If the jobs are not running, make sure your crontab is set up properly.
  5. Now go to RT SalesMap and view the map. Apply a filter and load the map to see all the pins for addresses that have been geo-coded so far.

No locations are showing up on SalesMap. What should I do?

Try the steps in question 3. If that doesn’t seem to help then it is just a matter of time. There is a 1,000 record per day limit of translating addresses to geocoded locations.

How do I limit my search to a certain area?

The radial search function of RT SalesMap allows you to pick an address and create a radius around it. To see records only within that radius, switch on the toggle at the top, and load the map again. If you want to change the area of focus, simply drag the circle to another area, and reload the map.

Is RT SalesMap compatible with SuiteCRM?

Yes. To keep up with the in-demand SuiteCRM market, we have worked on making our plugins compatible with this CRM. RT SalesMap is compatible with the latest versions of SuiteCRM.
