GoogleMaps API Pricing Update

Effective July 16, 2018, Google has revised their Pricing Plan for Maps, Routes, and Places.

In order to use RT SalesMap, users are required to enable four Google APIs:

  • Geocoding API
  • Maps JavaScript API
  • Places API
  • Directions API

According to Google’s previous pricing plan, Maps JavaScript API was free up to 25,000 calls per day, and Maps Geocoding API was free up to 2.500 calls per day. But now both APIs are available as Premium only, so the revised plan for JavaScript API costs 7 USD per 1000 calls, and Geocoding API costs 5 USD per 1000 calls.

One map loading call is free per day. So once the map has been loaded the map will not be able to re-render until the next day. Users must upgrade their APIs to Premium plan in order to get RT SalesMap to work properly. for more information you can visit the New Policy web page.
