What are we looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant / Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the Finance and Retail modules, with a solid understanding of the technical architecture, development tools (X++), and integrations. Experience with HR and Supply Chain modules is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Customize and extend Dynamics 365 F&O using X++, extensions, and integrations based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical components related to Finance and Retail modules.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand and deliver technical solutions.
- Design and develop data entities, services, and integrations (OData, custom services, DIXF).
- Debug and resolve issues in existing customizations and standard D365 functionality.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to technical documentation, unit testing, and version control practices.
- Support deployment activities and provide post-go-live technical assistance.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a technical consultant or developer in Dynamics 365 F&O (formerly AX).
- Strong expertise in Finance and Retail modules.
- Proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Experience with integrations using REST/OData, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Understanding of D365 Data Management Framework and batch jobs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to HR and/or Supply Chain modules.
- Experience with dual-write, Dataverse, or integrations with external ERP/CRM systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps, Git repositories, and automated deployment tools.
- Microsoft certifications related to D365 F&O.
- Experience with Power Platforms, esp. Power Automate
