It’s that time of the year again when we gear up for the extravaganza on all things SugarCRM. Every year SugarCRM holds a conference for their partners, customers, technology experts and developers. They come together for this 3 day event to network, share news, and find industry insights. With a little over 2 months to go, we break down what we know so far about SugarCon 2018. Last year’s SugarCon ‘17 took place in San Francisco with a superhero theme. Everyone from Bruce Wayne to Tony Stark took to stage to find how to fight crime. From integrating the bat-cave with SugarCRM to customizing Jarvis, Sugar had it all!
Rumors are that the theme for SugarCon 2018 is all about the future. Long shot off last year’s superhero theme but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for an odd hero appearance (Cyborg, anyone?)
According to Sugar, this year’s event is going to be bigger than before, so let’s take a look at what we know about SugarCon 2018 so far.

EVENTS TO MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
KEYNOTE SPEECH: Every year, SugarCRM picks an inspiring story or exceptional use of SugarCRM to highlight their event. Last year’s Keynote Speaker was Billy Beane who made exceptional use of SugarCRM to leverage data analytics to evaluate players and consequently took Oakland Athletics to six division titles. So far we know that one of the keynote speakers for SugarCon 2018 is David Rowen, a tech guru and founding editor-in-chief at Wired UK. More speakers will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
APP THROWDOWN: Every year SugarCRM provides a platform to SugarCRM developers to present their apps built to enhance Sugar functionality in what is now called “App Throwdown”. App Throwdown has gone on to become one of the highlights of SugarCon and this year looks to be no different.
