Corporate Finance Associates is an international investment banking firm serving middle-market businesses. For over 55 years, Corporate Finance Associates has been advocating on behalf of business owners who are restructuring a company, either through divestiture, merger, acquisition or recapitalization. CFA draws upon substantial research, valuation, marketing, industry-specific resources and expertise in over 40 offices spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, and Europe.

Challenges

CFA provides financial services to SMBs using SugarCRM for reaching out to them and handling their financials. It had set up marketing campaigns to reach out to target these SMBs and see if they were interested in its services. In order to prepare for these, CFA had to manually enter these SMBs into its target lists. Sugar, by default, was preventing it from moving existing targets into lists for new campaigns. Repetitive manual entry of thousands of targets was proving to be frustrating and inefficient for CFA.
